RECTOR & FAMILY:  Since June 2004, the Rev. Charles Robinson has been rector of St. Luke’s.  He is pictured here with his wife of 25 years, Bonnie Brown, and their 18 year old daughter, Hillaree.  Fr. Charles was raised and originally ordained in the Southern Baptist Church.  He has been an Episcopal priest since 1990.  He holds three master’s degrees (divinity, counseling, and business) and sees ongoing adult theological education as central to his ministry.  He loves preaching, reading philosophy, hiking and riding motorcycles.  Bonnie, an R.N. by training, is Co-Director of Children’s Spiritual Education and teaches in our Children’s Church School.  Over the past several years she has, in collaboration with Ginny Brewer and Deedee Sihvonen, developed a Church School curriculum that emphasizes values and spirituality over traditional religion.  Hillaree, in addition to being active in the parish youth group, anchors our nursery services each Sunday.
